Fun Fact: Being adopted from China, I took an Ancestry DNA test in highschool and found out I am related to a freshman year engineering teacher! Our profiles came back as distant cousins and she is the only person I know to have shared DNA!.

Best Bridge Memory: All the fun activities and making new friends that I will call family for the rest of my life.

Reason for wanting to become a Tutor: I had such a good experience at bridge. I had a blast and it prepared me well for the upcoming semester. I wanted to give back and stay connected to the community I love.

In my spare time I like to: Hang out with my friends, play guitar, listen to music, and hang out with my dogs at home. I also love being active and playing sports. I like running, lifting at the gym, polyneasian dance, and I am working on getting my second degree blackbelt in Tang Soo Do karate.

Future Aspiration(s): Ever since middle school I knew I wanted to become an engineer, but it was the matter of finding the right field for me. I’m the only engineer in my family, so I had to explore its potential on my own. Every year throughout high school, I would take a different engineering course through PLTW(Project Lead The Way). Engineering is so abstract, but I decided to major in Mechanical Engineering. It’s broad enough so I can work pretty much anywhere and it incorporates concepts that I love. I like to build parts and stems, and design objects. I want to design and manufacture products that will benefit society. Whether it’s to help those in need or to make life more convenient.

Words I live by:
“I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions”.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted”
