Andri received her Batchelor in Elementary Education from the University of Athens, an MPhil in Educational Research Methods and PhD in Education both from the University of Cambridge, UK. Andri holds K-6 Teacher Certifications in Greece and Connecticut.

Andri’s PhD research was funded by the prestigious and highly competitive Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Award (the UK equivalent of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program). Also, Andri received the European Cambridge Trust and the Churchill College Duckworth Scholarships. Andri’s PhD research had a mixed methods design, including psychometric assessment and innovative methods to explore children’s emotion understanding and perceptions of peer relationships, as well as an assessment of the Test of Emotion Comprehension. Andri presented her research at major external peer-reviewed conferences, such as the British Educational Research Association (BERA), the Association for Psychological Science and the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI), and at the University of Cambridge research conference “Kaleidoscope”.

Andri is grateful to have served voluntarily her Greek community in Los Angeles located in the famous Byzantine-Latino Quarter as the director of the Hellenic Academy. During her tenure, she developed the curriculum, restructured the program’s operation, and engaged with the local community. She is excited and grateful to have joined the Vergnano Institute for Inclusion to support its programs and vision.
